Buckle up gang, for the first time we are heading beyond our regular suppliers to an independent wine merchant based up North – but for the Southern contingent: you don’t have to cross the Thames, let alone learn what a barm-cake is – they do national delivery.

This season we will look at modern winemaking – that means under the radar varieties, value in France (sacre bleu!), natural wine and low sugar affordable fizz.
